Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Shop Weh app and shopweh.store. By tapping Agree or creating an account, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What Shop Weh does

Shop Weh lets you build a grocery list and compare it across physical stores in Jamaica. It does not sell groceries, take payments or process orders. You buy from the stores directly.

Prices are estimates

• Prices come from store listings and Consumer Affairs Commission surveys, and some can be months old. Each shows its date.
• We do not guarantee that a price, product, size or stock level is correct, current or available in a store.
• Totals, swaps and possible savings are estimates to help you plan. They are not offers from any store.
• Always check the price at the store before you buy.

Your account

You need an account to see prices, and you must be 18 or older to create one. Younger shoppers may use the app with a parent or guardian. Keep your password private, give accurate details and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Copy, scrape or resell prices or other content from Shop Weh in bulk.
• Try to get around sign in, security or usage limits, or disrupt the service.
• Post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that belongs to someone else in reports or feature requests.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Feature requests and reports

Feature requests are public, so leave out personal details. If you send us an idea or report, we may use it to improve Shop Weh without owing you anything.

Our content

The Shop Weh name, logo, Bonnie the mascot and the app design belong to Shop Weh. Store names and brands belong to their owners, and showing them does not mean they endorse us. Price comparisons are not paid for and no store or brand can buy a better ranking.

Limits on our responsibility

Shop Weh is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on a price, a wasted trip to a store, or the app being unavailable. Nothing here removes any right you have under Jamaican consumer law that cannot legally be removed.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. If we make an important change, we will ask you to agree again in the app. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica deal with any dispute. Questions? Email info.shopweh@gmail.com.
